Start small: you don't need to learn Zalfol on day one. Open the Guide, empty your head into the Dump, and do one step of five minutes or less. That's the whole first session.

First, open the Guide

At the top of the home screen, next to the language button, there's an outlined gold "Guide" button («الدليل»). It opens a short walkthrough in 9 chapters.

You don't have to finish it. Read one chapter, close it, come back tomorrow — it's there whenever you want it.

Your first five minutes: empty your head

Open Box 1 — Dump. It lives in the side panel: tap your name or photo at the top of the home screen. Write down everything that's circling in your head — tasks, worries, ideas, errands — one line each, without sorting anything.

Stuck on the blank page? Inside the Dump, tap "Don't know where to start? Let me ask you one thing." The Excavator starts with one question to get you moving.

Then: one thing, one small step

Pick one item from the Dump. Not the most important one — the one you can actually start. Break off a first step that takes five minutes or less, and do it in Goldfish Mode: one task on the screen, nothing else around it.

When it's done, that counts. It isn't a warm-up for the real work; it is the real work, in a size your brain will start.

If you feel lost, that's normal

Zalfol has seven boxes and three modes. You don't need all of them this week. Most of them make sense later, once there's something in your Dump to sort.

If you come back after a few days away, start the same way: empty your head, pick one thing, do one small step. There's nothing to catch up on.

CEO Mode can wait

CEO Mode is for projects: goals broken down into steps. It's the most powerful part of Zalfol, and it's not where to begin on day one.

Come to it when there's something you want to build over weeks. The free plan gives you two active projects, which is plenty to start with.
